BBC news carried a piece claiming that sales figures of cars are back up to pre-recession figures.
The reports from the ‘British Car Auctions’ shows that they are presently worth £38.1bn and in 2008 they were worth £32.4bn.
In terms of numbers of units sold, it is presently for every 1 new car sold there are 3.5 used cars sold and in 2008 this was a 1 v 3.2.
78% percent of us are driving a used car and 22% of interviews said the main reason was better value.
