There were a vast range of media formats available to us for promoting this message, but AdNozzles were the best fit as they enabled us to target 100% motorists and every interaction took place during a journey, including those that were on the way to a night out.In that quiet moment where each person filled up their vehicle, we intended this message to empower them to say no to alcohol when they are driving. There are numerous reasons why people think that it’s ok to drink alcohol and then get behind the wheel, without considering the devastating consequences that could follow. Our creative highlighted what could be lost as a direct result of drink-driving: license, job or even life, which prompted people to think about the bigger picture.This campaign enabled us to speak to thousands of people and was so well-received that we will be planning AdNozzles as a core part of our ongoing activity.

Suffolk, Norfolk, Peterborough and Essex County Councils all ran a co-ordinated proximity campaign to communicate their School Crossing Patrol message. They used the same creative but tailored the message to each region through the implementation of their own branding and logo. t4Local’s petrol pump nozzles were chosen as the ideal medium. They were the only way in which each of the councils was able to reach their target audience without implementing a countrywide campaign. The service provided by t4Local to co-ordinate this joint campaign was extremely efficient. Furthermore, the delivery was effective, the outcomes assessable, and the campaign summary and evaluation which was also provided, was invaluable.

The campaigns we run with t4Local are aimed at improving driver behaviour. These include drink-driving, child passenger safety and motorcycle awareness. Forecourt media allows us to target Essex motorists specifically at relatively low entry costs. This, coupled with a geographically relevant message, makes it a highly effective medium for our campaign. The success of the ‘Life Begins At 50’ campaign was based on the reduction of speed related driving offences with the implementation of speed cameras. As a whole, speed offences were reduced considerably immediately after the campaign commenced. We selected t4Local’s forecourt media formats as an integral part of a wider out of home campaign to support our Softmints brand. The dual messaging on the petrol pump nozzle, combined with the door graphic, worked together to create a forecourt journey. This meant that we were able to communicate with our consumers at two key touch-points. This was valuable in raising brand awareness amongst a relevant audience. In addition, the campaign was able to prompt impulse sales in the forecourt shop. Over four weeks, the campaign achieved an impressive 2.8 million impacts. As 75% of motorists will purchase their mints at a forecourt convenience outlet*, this was an ideal environment within which to communicate the Trebor brand. As the manager of Olivelimes, I take great pride in offering an exceptional dining experience to my guests and try to ensure that our advertising reflects this. I have had many different ideas to promote Olivelimes in the past, but this was the first time I have used AdNozzles. As it is such a unique way of advertising, I felt there was a good chance that people would notice my ad. In particular, because I was the only advertiser on the forecourt I knew that it would build awareness of Olivelimes locally. I visited the forecourt during the campaign to see the ads for myself and they looked great!
